Fitzgerald’s Farmhouse Accommodation and Equestrian Centre is located in Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick. Abbeyfeale is situated on the Kerry/Limerick border and so is an ideal location for touring these counties. Just a 30 minute drive away you will find some beautiful beaches and the car ferry, which will bring you to County Clare.
Fitzgerald’s has something very special to offer to everyone. Our home is approved by both Bord Failte and Irish Farmhouse Holidays and the Equestrian Centre is AIRE approved. We specialise in quality home cooking.
Enjoy horse riding through the open hills where you can take in the beautiful views of the surrounding area. We cater for every age group and standard.
We specialise in beginners but there is also a challenging cross-country course for the more advanced rider. During the summer we run pony camps which we have found to be a very popular choice among families.
In winter we organise Hunting Packages. English courses are also available by a T.E.F.L teacher.
While staying with us you can also feed the animals in the pet-land, walk our lovely nature trail, see an exhibition of antique farm machinery and take a stroll through the rolling hills.
Our home is situated one mile outside the town of Abbeyfeale. It’s a small vibrant town with a wide range of activities on offer. There are many pubs and shops, 2 nightclubs, a Town Park, a Go-Carting Track, Tennis Courts, a Driving Range, a nine hole Golf Course and an Internet Café.
The famous Ballybunion Golf Course and many lovely beaches are all within a 30-minute drive.
